GORUCK®
The GR1 was created with a simple but demanding objective: design a backpack that could survive Special Forces training, daily urban use, and long-term heavy loads—without failure. Inspired by military rucksacks, the GR1 was engineered for both tactical performance and everyday versatility.
The journey began with direct input from military professionals and endurance athletes. Early research focused on load-bearing comfort, laptop protection, and simplified internal organization. Designers intentionally avoided unnecessary features, prioritizing strength, usability, and clean design.
